Meet New York Comedian Elyse DeLucci

Elyse DeLucci is a New York-based comedian and writer.

Elyse’s career path started off on a different course. She earned her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University and went on to complete Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School (Digital Strategy) and University of Pennsylvania’s The Wharton School of Business (Leadership & Managerial Economics), she went on to hold C-Level Executive roles in Corporate America within digital media and finance.

Brooklyn-born and raised in Staten Island, Elyse is a proud New Yorker.  After moving to Manhattan after college, Elyse married and became a mother to two beautiful daughters.  With her corporate career, two British/Italian-American daughters, and living on the pristine Upper East Side,  she realized she was a complete fish out of water and began to develop her comedy around that.

Initially as an outlet to escape corporate pressures, Elyse started performing Improv & Sketch at The People’s Improv Theater & UCB; from there she had a teacher that urged her to do stand-up comedy and the rest was history.

Elyse performs at clubs and theaters across the country. Elyse has been featured in the New York Times and  Marketwatch.  Since the pandemic hit, with clubs & theaters closed, Elyse married her digital media expertise with her comedy, went on TikTok and became a roaring success.

Elyse’s TikTok went viral with over 25 Million views.  Her refreshing, relatable, funny mom, divorcee & dating comedy entered peoples homes and hearts.

With thousands of fans reaching to Elyse asking “where can we see more”, Elyse launched her weekly podcast ‘The Elyse DeLucci Show’, where she talks about daily musings from her Upper East Side living room.

Some of Elyse’s comedic influences include: Fanny Brice, Joan Rivers, Don Rickles, Sebastian Maniscalco and Roseann Barr.

Elyse proudly represents Italian-Americans and the Italian culture all across the world.
